Lincoln Corsair: Exterior Trim and Ornamentation / Removal and Installation - Liftgate Moulding

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may include installation details.

  1. Remove the liftgate mounted rear lamp assemblies.
    Refer to: Rear Lamp Assembly (417-01 Exterior Lighting, Removal and Installation).
  1. Remove the rear gate trunk module.
    Refer to: Rear Gate Trunk Module (RGTM) (501-03 Body Closures, Removal and Installation).
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector and detach the wiring harness clip.
  1. Remove the nuts.
    Torque: 33 lb.in (3.7 Nm)
  1. Remove the lift gate moulding.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
