Removal

Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe.
Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe (303-12A Intake Air Distribution and

Installation).

Remove the EGR back pressure sensor.
Refer to: Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Back Pressure Sensor (303-08A
Engine Emission Control - 2.0L EcoBoost (177kW/240PS) – MI4, Removal
and Installation).

Remove the fasteners.
-
Remove the fastener and EGR cooler to EGR valve tube.

Remove and discard the gaskets.
Installation

Install the new gaskets. Install the EGR cooler to EGR valve tube. Install the fasteners and hand tighten it at this stage.

Install the fastener and hand tighten it at this stage.

Tighten the fasteners.
Torque:
97 lb.in (11 Nm)

Install the EGR back pressure sensor.
