Drain the cooling system.
Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding

Procedures).

NOTE:
Make sure the block heater wiring is routed and secured away from rotating or hot components.
Disconnect the block heater electrical connector.

Remove the block heater.
Torque:
41 lb.ft (55 Nm)
Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Fill and bleed the cooling system.
