With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and Operation).

NOTE:
Less than half of the fluid may be drained from the
rear electric drive assembly. Fluid will collect in the internal
cavities and will be significantly less than the fill amount.
Remove the drain plug and drain the rear electric drive assembly oil.
Use the General Equipment: Fluid Container
Torque:
177 lb.in (20 Nm)
Filling
-
NOTICE:
The vehicle needs a road test after the initial fill
to fill the dual sumps inside the unit. Then rechecked after the road
test to top off the fluid.
Fill the rear electric drive assembly oil.
Refer to: Specifications (302-02 Rear Electric Drive Assembly)

Road test the vehicle.

Check and top off the rear electric drive assembly oil level.
