General Equipment
Removal

Remove the wheel and tire.
Refer to: Wheel and Tire (204-04A Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).

NOTICE:
Make sure that the insulator pads are correctly positioned to prevent direct contact with other components.
Support the rear suspension using an axle stand.
Use the General Equipment: Vehicle/Axle Stands

Remove the rear shock absorber lower bolt.
-
Remove and discard the rear shock absorber upper bolts.
Installation
-
-
NOTE:
Make sure the position of component.
Position and align the rear shock absorber upper mount cup under reinforcement bracket.

NOTE:
Make sure the new bolts are used.
Install the new rear shock absorber upper bolts.
Torque:
81 lb.ft (110 Nm)

Install the rear shock absorber and install the lower bolt.
Torque:
129 lb.ft (175 Nm)

Remove the axle stand.
-
Install the wheel and tire.

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.

Do not use power tools to remove or install the
stabilizer bar link nuts...

Overview
The
parking brake system uses 2 switch activated, Electronic Control Unit
(ECU) controlled motors to apply and release the rear brake calipers.
The ABS module controls and
monitors the parking brake system and sets Diagnostic Trouble Codes
(DTCs) when a fault is present in the system...
The system allows you to interact with the
entertainment, information and
communication systems on your vehicle
using voice commands. This allows you to
keep your hands on the steering wheel and
focus on what is in front of you.
