Removal
NOTE:

Remove the driver airbag.
Refer to: Driver Airbag (501-20B Supplemental Restraint System, Removal and Installation).

Remove the downshift paddle switch.

Disconnect the electrical connector.
-
Remove the retainer and the downshift paddle switch.
Torque:
44 lb.in (5 Nm)
Installation
-
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Activation
NOTE:
If the vehicle battery is dead or there is no electrical power available, connect an external power source.
Apply the parking brake...

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.

Less than half of the fluid may be drained from the
rear electric drive assembly...
General Information
If electrical components in the vehicle are
not working, a fuse may have blown. Blown
fuses are identified by a broken wire within
the fuse.
