Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Remove the steering wheel.
Refer to: Steering Wheel (211-04 Steering Column, Removal and Installation).

Remove the downshift paddle switch.
Refer to: Downshift Paddle Switch (307-05A Automatic Transmission
External Controls - 8-Speed Automatic Transmission – 8F35/8F40, Removal
and Installation).

Remove the upshift paddle switch.
Refer to: Upshift Paddle Switch (307-05A Automatic Transmission
External Controls - 8-Speed Automatic Transmission – 8F35/8F40, Removal
and Installation).

Remove the retainers, disconnect the wire harness clips and remove the steering wheel rear cover.

NOTE:
Position the steering wheel bezel and switches forward to gain access to wiring connectors.
Separate the steering wheel bezel and switches assembly
from the steering wheel, disconnect the electrical connectors and remove
the assembly.
Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

On both sides
Remove the retainers and remove the steering wheel switch.

On both sides
Remove the retainers and remove the steering wheel switch.
Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Remove the steering column shrouds.
