Removal
NOTE:

Remove the wheel and tire.
Refer to: Wheel and Tire (204-04A Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).

NOTE:
Note the position of the components before removal.
NOTE:
LH (left-hand) height sensor assembly shown, RH (right-hand) similar.
Remove the front suspension height sensor.

Disconnect the front suspension height sensor electrical connector, Unclip the harness and position aside.
-
Remove the front suspension height sensor arm bracket-to-lower arm retainer.
Torque:
97 lb.in (11 Nm)

Drill out the retaining rivets and remove the front suspension height sensor.

Installation

NOTICE:
The linkage must be in a vertical position after
installation. Failure to follow these instructions may result in
component damage and/or failure.
NOTE:
The RH (right-hand) and LH (left-hand) height sensor assemblies cannot be used on opposite sides of the vehicle.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Calibrate the suspension height sensor. Connect the scan
tool and carry out the Ride Height Calibration routine. Follow the scan
tool directions.

Remove the push pins, the screws and the lower bumper
cover bracket assembly...

mount equipment on or near the airbag
cover, on the side of the front or rear
seatbacks, or in areas that may come into
